NEW YORK:

TONIGHT: OCTOBER 7TH: MOMENTOS DE... TERRAZA CAFE, J.H, NY:

Sticky
7:00 PM
"perfect short attention span theater..."-The New York Times
Watch live on the WEB!

"Signature 10-minute bar play series... from the bars of Philadelphia to the bars of New York, Sticky presents plays from all over because anything that can happen can happen in a bar, produced by Blue Box Productions. Stories of the eternal war against roaches, rough nights with vanilla milkshakes, aspiring actors trying to get laid, high stakes Wall St. office pools, discovering your mom on internet porn, and presidential press briefings all come to life in one of downtown's chillest performance venues.

Short plays are performed throughout the room, the audience is part of the setting, part of the party. The night starts when the audience arrives, they come to drink, they come to laugh, they come to have fun. With a quick introduction and a shift in the lights, any corner of the room suddenly becomes a back drop for drama, comedy, dance or cabaret, flowing seamlessly together with intermissions throughout the night".

----OCTOBER 10 - Nonsense NYC: A one-night physical manifestation of the Nonsense NYC email list, celebrating 10 years of weird art and culture coverage in New York City. Featuring artwork by 75 artists and collectives, an all-night dance party, and performances every five minutes. With eight installation theater spaces and a spectacular spectacle on a brand new floor at one of the best venues in Brooklyn.

"From 7-9p, artists, collectives, and makers look into the future with a salon-style gallery show on the main floor. The enemy of anyone celebrating 10 years in New York is nostalgia. To fight it, we decided to ask what people want to see in the *next* 10 years. The response is overwhelming: 75 visions of what culture could be like in the next decade. From Rubulad's line-up to swim races in the Gowanus Canal, from the Danger's antics to the Bruce High Quality Foundation's gender benders, you'll see it here first".

..............................................................................................................

This exhibition is jointly held by Kenji Ichikawa, who has a familiar name of “ITCH" and by Kotaro Hachinohe of “HATCH".

Itch – Kenji Ichikawa – has previously been selected three times for the Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Prize Exhibition,
and expected to do great things in the future.
Hatch – Kotaro Hachinohe – previously belonged to the pivotal centre of the Japanese calligraphy world,
and along with continued study, his future is one filled also with great expectations.
Working day and night on his pieces, in a corner of Tokyo is Itch. Holding his brush day and night in a corner of New York is Hatch. While Itch’s Ikebana series and Hatch’s trace K series have been acquired by many overseas collectors,
they are yet to appear on the horizon in their home: Japan.
The same Itch and Hatch met by coincidence last Autumn at Kitai Gallery
and will thus unite for this exhibition ‘Itchka Hatchka’ (Itch or Hatch).
